Can a beginner ride a 300cc?

300 cc bikes are not just beginner bikes they work very well on tracks often. But to your original question I would say yes it is possible but I would not suggest it. I never understood this. A 300 is not a slow bike if you get a KTM 390, Kawasaki Ninja 300, or Yamaha R3.

Anyone wishing to ride a 250cc with L-plates must be at least 17. 16 year olds can still ride mopeds (49cc). Largely due to bikes like Yamaha’s FS1-E 50cc moped being able to do 60mph+ mopeds are restricted to 30mph, which is a serious come down for an entire generation.

Can you start on a R1?

The short answer is yes, and its actually a better bike for beginners than an R6 is. Before I started riding I spent a lot of time scouring over forums trying to figure out whether an R1 was safe for a beginner.

What is the max CC for a 16 year old?

50cc
The maximum engine size a 16 year old can ride is 50cc.

Can I ride a 125cc motorcycle on a car licence?

Yes, if you have a full car licence you can ride a 125cc scooter or motorbike. However, you must take and pass your compulsory basic training (CBT) before riding on the road. With a completed CBT, you can ride a 125cc motorcycle on the road with L plates.
