How often do I need to apply Rogaine?

Use ROGAINE® twice a day — once in the morning and once in the evening, about half an hour before bed. Try to think of it as a new part of your daily routine — like brushing your teeth. If you miss an application, just resume treatment as normal the next day — do not apply a double dose to make up for a missed one.

How long do you have to wait between Rogaine applications?

There is no official time period, however, the gap between applications should ideally be somewhere between 8 and 12 hours, depending on your lifestyle, convenience or daily routine; this is to ensure your consistency of use.

Can you over apply Rogaine?

Do not use more of it and do not use it more often than your doctor ordered. To do so may increase the chance of it being absorbed through the skin. For the same reason, do not apply minoxidil to other parts of your body. Absorption into the body may affect the heart and blood vessels and cause unwanted effects.

Is it OK to use Rogaine once a day?
