How much is University of Toronto deposit?

If you are a new International student (a student who requires a study permit to study in Canada), you are required to make a non-refundable $1000 admission deposit as a part of accepting your offer of admission. You must also accept your offer of admission through your JOIN portal.

Do I have to pay a deposit for UofT?

Deposit payments may be required for newly admitted students who have accepted an admission offer in an academic program and/or students who have accepted a residence offer.

How do I accept my U of T offer?

You can accept your offer online via OUAC. If you have any more questions about OUAC, refer to the ‘Common Questions’ on OUAC’s website. You have until June 1st to accept your offer of admission to the Faculty of Arts & Science at UofT.

How do I pay my UofT tuition deposit?

Payments must be made through your financial institution, via a bank machine, teller, online or by telephone. No payments are accepted on campus. Please note that there are additional fees associated with making payments by credit card.

Can I pay university fees monthly?

You need to pay 25\% of the annual tuition fee on or before enrolment and the remaining amount can be paid in seven consecutive monthly instalments between October and April.

How do I pay my acorns fee?

On the ACORN dashboard, click the “Make a Payment” link on the left navigation or the “Make a Payment” button near the bottom of the Finances card. On the Make a Payment Page, click the “Make a Payment by Credit Card” button. Keep in mind that a 1.75\% convenience fee will apply to the transaction.

How do I respond to a U of T offer?

Once you decide whether to accept or decline the offer, complete, sign, date and return the Confirmation Form to [email protected]. It’s important to respond promptly because an offer of admission may be cancelled if it’s not responded to within three weeks.

Does U of T give early acceptance?

The University of Toronto does offer early acceptance. If you are accepted to the Faculty of Arts and Science, you will be invited to an evening event to meet faculty and obtain more information (as long as the Faculty still offers this event). This event will help you in making your decision.

What is admission deposit?

The deposit confirms your enrollment intention and secures a place in our freshmen class. If you do not submit your deposit by May 1, your admission is subject to cancellation.

Paying for Tuition to Qualify for Educational Exclusion Under the Internal Revenue Code, you can pay unlimited amounts for someone’s tuition and not be taxed. The payment you make to the school must only cover tuition. It may not be used for other educational expenses, such as on-campus accommodations or textbooks.
