How many subjects are required to pass NIOS?

For obtaining a pass certificate, you are required to pass in a minimum of five subjects including one or maximum of two languages from Group ‘A’ and other three or four subjects from other Group. However, you are free to take upto two additional subjects. Thus, in all you can choose a maximum of seven subjects.

Can I take direct admission in 12th NIOS?

NIOS offers direct admission to class 12th after completion of the class 10th examination. So, students can take direct admission in class 12th from NIOS board. But in this case, you should have cleared class 10th and there should be 1 year’s gap between this, and you have to study the full course of 11th and 12th.
