Age Limit for Navy To join the Navy without your parents’ consent as an enlisted member you must be at least 18 years old. The minimum age limit for Navy is 17 with your parents’ permission. You cannot be older than 39. Should you enter a Navy officer program the youngest you can be is 19; the oldest you can be is 42.

The first medical test conducted followed by written exam and physical exam in the respective recruitment centre. They check whether you have knott knees, flat foots, hyperhydrosis, pumosis, wax in ear, visual problem, colour blindness, high or low bp etc. Final medical test will be conducted in INS Chilka.
