How do you put in contacts if you blink a lot?

Blinking too early makes it hard to put in contacts. If you tend to blink or squeeze your eye shut before putting in your contact lens, you may have to hold open your eyelids. If you need to, use two fingers, on one hand, to hold open the bottom and top eyelid, so you don’t blink. Open your eyes widely.

Can you wear contact lenses if you have dry eyes?

Cut your eyes some slack. It’s a misconception that dry eyes and contact lenses are like oil and water. Sure, having dry eyes means the tear film meant to moisturize your eyeballs isn’t working as well as it should, but it doesn’t rule out your ability to wear contacts.

toward your eye steadily. Look upward as you place it on your eye, and slowly release your eyelid and close your eye for a moment to allow the lens to settle. Repeat for your other eye. IMPORTANT: Never rinse your contact lenses or lens case with tap water.

What happens if you get water in your eye?

Water can introduce germs to the eyes through contact lenses. Water can cause soft contact lenses to change shape, swell, and stick to the eye. This is uncomfortable, and can scratch the cornea (the clear dome that covers the colored part of the eye), which makes it easier for germs to enter the eye and cause infection.
