Fire from a lit match will often be around 1100°F but there will still be slightly different temperatures around different parts of the flame.

Match heads are coated in phosphorous based compounds that catch fire when heated up. The heat that lights a match generally comes from friction when you rub or “strike” a match on a rough surface.
