How does the brain determine personality?

Differences in intelligence have so far mostly been attributed to differences in specific brain regions.

How can we measure personality traits using brain scans?

The structural brain scans were provided by the Human Connectome Project, a US project funded by the National Institutes of Health. We evaluated personality traits using a questionnaire called the NEO five factor inventory.
