Can INFJ be manipulative?

INFJs don’t always use their qualities for good, they can also be master manipulators — our intuition makes it easy for the INFJ to pick up on cues and find “weak spots” in people — prey on those — and then get what is needed.

How do you talk to someone with OCPD?

Let them know the effect they have on you with “I” statements (not “you” statements). People with OCPD tend to be so consumed with getting projects done and with doing them in a particular way that they may lose track of the effect they have on others. Ask them to attend couples therapy with you.

What can partners of individuals with OCPD do to improve the relationship?

Why are INFJs so hard to deal with?

What makes their emotions so difficult to handle at times is the relative lack of an introverted judging function in the INFJ’s functional stack which is able to actively organize their emotions and thus provide a clear overview. The introverted judging function the INFJ has available to do the job is Introverted Thinking (Ti).

How do you deal with people with obsessive compulsive disorder?

People with OCPD tend to be so consumed with getting projects done and with doing them in a particular way that they may lose track of the effect they have on others. Ask them to attend couples therapy with you. Remind them that therapists are cheaper than divorce attorneys. Encourage them to go to individual therapy for their own benefit.
