What is an A B schedule?

The A/B Block schedule allows students to take both semester and year-long courses while still having longer period blocks for every class. “A” days are two days a week; “B” days are two days a week; and on a fifth day, students attend all their classes for a shortened length resembling a Standard period schedule.
