How do you use parchment paper in a round tin?

Cut a double strip of baking parchment slightly longer than the circumference of the tin. Fold back 1 inch (2.5 cm) along its length and snip this at intervals, cutting at a slight angle to the fold. Grease the tin then press the paper around the sides – it should sit comfortably around the sides of the tin.

Do I need to grease parchment paper for cakes?

There isn’t much of a time constraint on how long parchment paper can be used in the oven, as long as you watch that the edges of the parchment paper do not begin to brown or burn. Parchment paper can actually be reused, and you could get a few batches of cookies baked using one sheet of parchment paper.
