How do you tell what notes are being sung?

Sit quietly and just sing aaaah or oooooh or whatever. Then play a note towards the middle of the keyboard. Now singing that note and play a different note until you get them to match up. When you get real close you will hear this wavering/pulsing of your voice and the piano.

How do the final rounds of the voice work?

During the final rounds of the show, the top 12 performers compete against each other each week during a live broadcast, with a television audience voting for their favorites. The three singers with the lowest number of votes become eligible for the “Instant Save,” and have one final chance to perform a new song.
