How do you promote Scouting?
Media work is a great way to promote Scouting, whether it’s to parents or other parts of the community. Scouting is about adventure for everyone and at every level. This message runs through all of our media work and is what we call our ‘brand’.
What is the slogan for Boy Scouts?
Do a Good Turn Daily
The Scout slogan is Do a Good Turn Daily. That means doing something to help others each day without expecting anything in return. It means that Scouts do their part to care for the community and the environment. As Boy Scouts plan activities and progress toward goals, they experience personal growth.
Can I use the BSA logo?
In general, as BSA volunteers, we can use BSA logos and materials for Scouting purposes. An Eagle Court of Honor certainly qualifies. Typically nothing is reproduced for sale, and nothing of value is given away. The complexities arise when you involve third parties and copyrighted non-BSA materials.
Are Boy Scouts healthy?
Scouting helps youth develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that influence their adult lives. Try new things. Provide service to others. Build self-confidence.

What is a webelo?
(Webelos stands for “WE’ll BE LOyal Scouts”) The Webelos/Arrow of Light (AOL) Program is a two year program for Fourth and Fifth Grade Boys. Fourth Grade Boys work toward the Webelos Badge, while Fifth Graders work toward the Arrow of Light badge.
Are Boy Scouts still popular?
Today, popularity in outdoor events has waned and membership has dropped. However, BSA remains the largest scouting organization and one of the largest youth organizations in the United States, with about 1.2 million youth participants and about one million adult volunteers as of 2021.
