How do you get into Ross maths program?
Admission decisions are based on several criteria, including: school transcripts; teacher recommendations; essays concerning the applicant’s interests and goals; and the applicant’s work on some challenging math problems. Undergraduate math majors and math graduate students are invited to apply to be a Ross Counselor.
How difficult is it to get into PROMYS?
While the acceptance rate at PROMYS varies from year to year, admission is competitive. Unfortunately, we turn away many qualified applicants every year and hope that they will apply again in a future summer if they are still eligible.
