  1. Go to the Input Box on top below ‘Platform Enquiry’
  2. In the Input boxes below, enter Train Number and Railway Station.
  3. Click on Submit Button.
  4. Here will be displayed Train’s Platform Number based on your information.

What is a platform in a train station?

A railway platform is an area alongside a railway track providing convenient access to trains. Almost all stations have some form of platform, with larger stations having multiple platforms.

You can find Train Name or Number by just entering first 3 letters and it will show you a list from which you can select the train. The Stations will be available to select depending upon train. Platform Number of Train Arrival / Departure can also be checked at railway station where enquiry counters are available for this purpose.

How to check train platform number in IRCTC?

Go to the IRCTC website and click on ‘Train Platform Enquiry’ option given at the top-left corner of the website page. Then a box asking the Train Number and the Railway Station will appear in front of your mobile screen. Enter these details and Click the option “Submit”.
