How do I become a true Muslim believer?
The Five Pillars are:
- Testimony of Faith (Shahada). When you become a Muslim, you make a testimony of faith.
- Performance of the five daily prayers (Salah). Pray five times daily in the direction of the holy city of Mecca.
- Fasting during the month of Ramadan (Sawm).
- Almsgiving.
- Making a pilgrimage to Mecca (Hajj).
How can I increase my sincerity?
Use sincere body language.
- Make steady eye contact, but don’t stare. Look away every now and then, and don’t forget to blink.
- Maintain a relaxed posture, but keep your body slightly poised.
- Don’t try to change your body language to reflect sincerity.
Who are the successful believers?
Successful indeed are the believers. Those who offer their Salat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that Allah has forbidden). And those who pay the Zakat .
What is the reward of a believer in Islam?
If he is granted goodness, he praises Allah and is grateful. If he is afflicted with a calamity, he praises Allah and is patient. The believer is rewarded for every matter, even lifting a morsel of food to his wife’s mouth.
What does the Qur’an say about oneness of Allah?
The Oneness of Allah is a central theme in the Qur’an and a message of all of the Prophets. The Qur’an eloquently describes the nature of Allah and His Oneness in the 112 th Chapter, Say: He is Allah, the One. Allah the Eternal. He begot no one nor was He begotten. No one is comparable to him.
What does Allah want us to believe in him?
Allah encourages us to mindfully believe in Him. In the Quran, Allah encourages us to use our minds and realise he has created the world around us: “Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding.” [Surah Ale Imran. 3:190]
Does Allah decree anything for the believer?
Verily, Allah does not decree anything for the believer except what is good for him. Allah will test us with both goodness and evil to see how we will behave.
