The app has a great selection of dramas but there are times when dramas all of a sudden switch to Standard or Plus so you could be in the middle of binging one and you can’t watch it anymore. The worst part is the ADS. I understand that’s how Viki makes its money but 6-9 ads in a row after every 10 minutes of an episode is preposterous.

Is Viki worth it on the free version?

The ads would be fine on the free version but they interrupt too frequently, are repetitive, constantly freeze the show which then forces me to restart the episode. I ended up just doing the 7 day trial version of VIKI just so I could finish the series without frustration. It almost seems as if they do it on purpose so you have to sub.

Should I charge for TV shows on Viki?

If you are going to charge for shows you need to make sure the shows will play. The buffering problem is ridiculous. UPDATE: After a month Subs on some shows with PLUS still not synching when casting in Chromecast and VIKI not addressing this. It is ok on phone or tab. But it is more comfortable watching it on TV via Chromecast.
