Do we get anything on clearing NTSE Stage 1?
NTSE Scholarship 2020-2021 – National Council of Education and Research (NCERT) will award the NTSE 2020 scholarship. This scholarship is given to Class 10th students who pass stage 1 and stage 2 exam. NTSE scholarship amount 2020 will be provided up to doctoral level for pursuing courses in science and social science.
Is NTSE certificate useful?
An NTSE scholar can pass the admission test of a college and get direct entry to it. Qualifying the scholarship exam is an added advantage when you apply for jobs. An NTSE scholar is given more preference in government jobs and is also helpful when appearing for interviews in different prestigious jobs.
Do students who clear NTSE Stage 1 get a certificate?
No, students who clear NTSE Stage I don’t get any certificate for this (few states send Congratulations msg to their students, that can’t be considered as a Certificate). Admit card for NTSE Stage II or a copy of the NTSE Stage I result declared by respective state boards can be produced as a certificate to prove that you have cleared NTSE Stage I

Is there any state quota in NTSE stage-1?
Ans. Yes there is state quota in NTSE Stage-1 . i.e. a selected number of candidates from the state will qualify the first round (STSE). However there is no state quota for the final result. Q 11: I am in class IX.
