The graduates from the US Military Academy, the US Air Force Academy, and the US Naval Academy can join any of the four DOD branches, however the majority will join the branch to which the Academy belongs. Therefore, Marine officers who are Academy graduates will have, for the most part, attended the Naval Academy.
