For many management jobs, a bachelor’s degree is the bare minimum to even be considered. In some fields, you’ll need a master’s degree to be a viable candidate. Some jobs require degrees in specific areas.

Generally it takes close to 5 years and above in most of the organizations. But there are specific firms where Manager is an entry level position and there are firms where Manager is a very senior position. It depends on the responsibilities that comes with the position.
