Do cobras Crow?

All of this would be crazy enough, but the Crowing crested cobra is supposedly in possession of a number of additional remarkable traits. It’s apparently very large – something like six metres long – and males supposedly make a loud crowing noise, like a rooster, while females make a chicken-like clucking.

Snakes lack vocal cords, so can merely hiss. Some snakes can make sounds by shaking their tails – rattlesnakes have special structures that click against each other to make a rattling noise, but other snakes simply vibrate their tails in whatever debris is nearby to make a rustling/buzzing sound.

It is not widely known but Peacocks do not like snakes. A peacock or peahen will not let snakes live within their territory. If they find a snake they will actively fight with it, even if it is a poisonous snake.
