Obi-wan regrets are layered. He regrets training Anakin and him regrets failing to train Anakin. The only reason Obi-wan went to Mustafar was because Yoda told him to. Even then, Obi-wan did not go to Mustafar to kill Anakin and restore the Jedi Order and Republic.
