Trivia. A common misconception is that King Jellybean wanted aliens to lick him. This comes from a joke on Reddit that the writers wrote to entertain. They did however clear up and blatantly state that the King did in fact try to rape Morty and has committed rape in the past.

Why did Rick kill Mr jellybean?

Rick kills Mr. Jellybean for touching his grandson. Rick side-eyes Mr. Jellybean as he’s exiting the restroom, battered and bleeding, and Morty’s jumpy behavior and traumatized expression tells Rick all he needs to know.

What was in Mr jellybeans box?

In a post credits scene, two of the villagers find a box of photographs showing the true nature of Mr. Jellybean, but they burn it to keep the king’s legacy untainted. The episode ends with a shot of his statue of his with his arms around a small child (implying his evil nature).
