Can you magnetise a non-magnetic material?

Particles of a nonmagnetic material in an aqueous mixture can be separated magnetically by contacting their surfaces with a magnetizing reagent to render them magnetic and then subjecting the mixture to a magnetic separation.

Can you use electricity to levitate?

Electrostatic levitation is the process of using an electric field to levitate a charged object and counteract the effects of gravity. Due to Earnshaw’s theorem, no static arrangement of classical electrostatic fields can be used to stably levitate a point charge.

How is levitation trick done?

The trick is performed by standing on the front of one foot, while raising the one foot and the visible part of the other foot, blocking the view of the front of the supporting foot with the other foot and rear part of the supporting foot. This illusion was first described by Ed Balducci in 1974.

Can you convert a non-magnetic object into a magnet?

No, there is no way. The source of the magnetism of a material is in the arrangament or the plane of the motion of the electrons around each induvidual atom or molecule. the direction of motion of any electron in an atom can only be altered with a magnetic field.

How do you make things levitate with magnets?

Attach a crowd of dipolar magnets to the underside of an object, all with the same side facing down toward a similar crowd of opposingly-placed magnets on the ground. The magnets will repel one another and create lift.

How do you make something static with levitation?
