Can you live off campus freshman year at Texas State?
Yes, if you are a first-year student you are required to live on campus per our housing policy. If you will be under the age of 20 (by September 1 for fall and January 1 for spring) with less than 30 college credits—you must live on campus.
Do you have to live on campus freshman year at UT Austin?
Students are not required to live on campus and may choose to live on or off campus. Freshmen are encouraged to consider living in University residence halls. The experience of many students indicates that adjustment to University life is often easier for those who live on campus.
Can freshmen have cars at University of Michigan?
Parking for students at the University of Michigan is extremely limited, and the University recommends that students leave their cars at home. First-Year Students and sophomores are not eligible to apply for daily parking permits offered through U-M Logistics, Parking, and Transportation Services.
Can you pick your roommate at University of Michigan?
If you have found someone in the same residence hall and room type as you, you can both send an email from your UM email account requesting each other; however, we do not guarantee that a change will be made.
Is there a curfew at Texas State University?
No curfew! No rules! Going to college and moving into a dorm room at Texas State provides you with the opportunity to be free and live independently. If you want to wake up at noon every day and eat ice cream for all of your meals, no one is going to stop you.
Does Texas A&M require freshmen to live on campus?
On-campus housing is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. With the exception of the Corps of Cadets, students are not required to live on campus at Texas A&M.
Can freshmen have cars at UT Knoxville?
