Can you lie about income on UC application?
If they discover you were lying, they can reject your application and/or withdraw their admission offer.
Can you change UC application after submitting?
Q: Can I make changes (grades, courses, activities, personal insight questions, etc.) to my application after I submitted it? A: Out of fairness to all applicants, only changes in critical information may be made to UC application data. This includes personal information, release authorizations, and some exam updates.
What happens if you lie on your common app?
There are tons of stories of people who did lie on their application, got caught, and then their admission was revoked. Lying on your application is never a good idea. If you get caught, your acceptance could be rescinded.
Do UCs know what other UCs you applied to?
Each UC campus evaluates each application without knowing the status of the same application at another campus. In making admission decisions, campuses do not consider where you’ve applied or your admission status to other campuses.
Do UCs verify extracurricular activities?
Applicants are asked to provide documentation to verify one item from sections on the UC application including academic history, honors and awards, extracurricular activities, volunteer work and community service, special program participation, employment, or information contained in the personal insight responses.
Does applying to more UCS hurt your chances?
Though UC has nine campuses, the admissions process begins with one application, and prospective students can apply to as many campuses as they want with the one application. In fact, according to UC’s website, applying to more than one UC campus increases significantly the chances of being admitted to UC.
Do UC admissions communicate with each other?
They do not talk to each other about admission decisions because they don’t have the technology or resources to do so. Each UC campus contracts its own vendor for system/interface to review and score the UC Applications (which are pulled electronically from the UC Application Center).
