Can you back out of an eBay winning bid?

Whenever you place a bid, you’re agreeing to buy the item if you win the auction. However, in some situations you can retract your bid. If you’re not able to retract your bid, you can also try contacting the seller to see if they’ll cancel your bid for you. The decision to cancel is at the discretion of the seller.

  3. You will be redirected to the bid cancellation form where you will enter the info about the auction and the bids you want to have canceled.
