Although he could fall in battle, he’d certainly defeat Manhattan as he fell, eventually returning from Hell again good as new. The Watchmen TV show has demonstrated that Dr Manhattan is living his life all at once, across time. If he was to be truly defeated then perhaps he should be fought at every part of his existence at the same time.
