Can the Enterprise defeat Star Destroyer?

The shortest answer is none of these are a true match for a Star Destroyer. The CVN-65 Enterprise is too underpowered, and the NCC-1701 and 1701-D are too overpowered on a Star Wars Energy scale. While the Star Destroyer is faster, it’s hull is made of weaker metals than that in Star Trek.
