Can NDA cadets watch movies?

Facility to screen movies is also available on the NDA campus. The presence of clubs helps cadets learn new skills and every cadet is expected to join at least one club.

Is smart watch allowed in NDA?

NDA & NA (1) & (2) 2020 recruitment process will consist of Written Exam and SSB Interview. However, use of watches fitted with any special accessory that might be used as communication device or smart watches is strictly prohibited and candidates are not allowed to take such watches into the Examination Rooms/ Halls.

Are NDA cadets allowed to use phone?

Are mobiles allowed for cadets at NDA? No. As per the rules of National Defence Academy, mobile phones are prohibited. There is STD booth and squadron land line phones in the academy which a cadet can use at the time of urgency.

How many semesters are there in the NDA training?

The whole training lasting about three years is divided into six semesters. At the end of every semester, there is a break of about 20 to 30 days during which the cadets can visit their home or wherever they want to go.

Can a cadet go home during the vacations?

Cadets may be permitted to proceed home during the vacations. The decision whether or not a cadet will be permitted to proceed home during the vacations rests with the Commandant, National Defence Academy, and will be determined by the progress shown during the training.

What is the term break of an Indian Army Cadet?

After the completion of each semester a cadet is given a term break of <=30 Days. Although additional leave can availed by writing an application to the Adjutant or some other senior authority. Cadets are also authorized medical leave for a short period. Going home on such leaves is not feasible though.
