Can intrusive thoughts cause false feeling?
People with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) often find that their intrusive thoughts come along with “sensory experiences” — quasi-hallucinations that attach some physical sensation to the distorted thinking the disorder can produce.
How do you deal with intrusive thoughts that feel real?
- Label these thoughts as “intrusive thoughts.”
- Remind yourself that these thoughts are automatic and not up to you.
- Accept and allow the thoughts into your mind.
- Float, and practice allowing time to pass.
- Remember that less is more.
- Expect the thoughts to come back again.

What is the difference between an obsession and a delusional belief?

Because they are primarily evolutionarily determined, the basic emotions are experienced and displayed in much the same way across cultures (Ekman, 1992; Elfenbein & Ambady, 2002; Fridland, Ekman, & Oster, 1987), and people are quite accurate at judging the facial expressions of people from different cultures.
