Can I join Air Force flying branch through CDS?

COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES (CDS) for Male Graduates in Flying Branch. As a Graduate/ Engineer, candidates can enter the Flying branch through the Air Force Academy where shortlisted candidates are trained as a Fighter pilot or a Helicopter pilot or a Transport pilot and are part of various peace and wartime missions.

Can I become fighter pilot through CDS?

For entry into the Flying Branch through the NDA or CDSE, your applications need to be sent to UPSC, New Delhi. If you apply for Short Service Commission Flying (Pilot) or as an NCC Senior Division C Certificate holder then processing of application is done by Air HQ and call letter is issued by AFSBs.
