Can I join Air Force after BCOM?

Since you are a Bcom graduate, you can join only Army through CDS. For Air force, you have to AFCAT and for Navy you have to apply for ground duty jobs like logistics. Air Force and Navy requires PCM in class 12 at least.

Can a commerce student become a pilot in India?

Yes, commerce students are eligible for pilot training. Anyone from a commerce background or non-science subjects in their high school can enroll in a flight school. As long as the student completes his 12th grade, he is eligible for pilot training. RELATED: Pilot training eligibility in India.

Can a commerce student become a pilot in IAF?

No he is not eligible. You must have physics & maths in school at 12th level with atlezast 60\% marks in both papers.

Yes, you can apply for AFCAT exam after you complete the Graduation. As you have done commerce without maths and physics in 12th, you can apply for Ground Duty branch.

You are not eligible for the Navy and Air force, because in order to be eligible for the Navy and Air force, you should have Physics and Mathematics in the Intermediate level. Do not worry, commerce field candidates are eligible for the Indian Military, Indian Air force- Logistics and Accountants Branch.

Yes, if you are in the final year of your B.sc then you can apply for AFCAT. This exam is conducted twice in a year. You just have to make sure that you don’t have any backlog during the time of SSB.

How a commerce student become a pilot?

Become Commercial Pilot! Under such a program, the Commerce stream student is asked to enroll by the Flight School to a ‘Distance Education’ course conducted by NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling). Once the course of 10+2 Science stream is completed, you may join Flying School and go for CPL training!

Can a commerce student become a flying officer?

Yes they can by joining accounts branch of IAF. you can join by AFCAT entry in officer cadre which is held twice a year in the month of February and August. To be eligible you must have atleast 60\%marks in graduation (B.Com)and should be between 18–24 years of age.
