Is it possible to make a dress bigger? Yes! Again, every dress is different, but many dresses have enough seam allowance to let the gown out between 1”-3”. A talented bridal tailor can also add fabric, lace, or beadwork to extend the dress further.

Your first option is to simply order another dress that is one size bigger or smaller than your original. This usually only works if you have plenty of time before the wedding. If you have limited time, you could take in the seams of the dress, or add fabric to make the dress bigger.

Some dresses sorta stretch out a bit as you warm it up and wear it. Maybe wear it around the house and see if it loosens up? If you can zip it, I would just try and loosen it up a bit.
