The Sim Card is what the phone needs to connect to a mobile network and make phone calls. SD Cards offer extra storage for your device so your phone will usually store photos, videos, music and app data here. But you can’t use a SIM card or a micro-SIM card in an SD card or Micro-SD card slot or vice-versa.
