So, is it the rubber plug due to which floor jack is not lifting the car? If yes, you must replace it. 6) Bleed the air from Jack. Have you tried all the fixes mentioned above but nothing works? If yes, it means air has entered into the jack. 7) Examine the jack thoroughly. So, it’s time to know if the problems with the floor jack still exist or it’s gone.

Repairing a floor jack is simple and only requires minimal tools. Wipe clean the cylinder of the floor jack. Any debris that can fall into the chamber can cause a blockage and result in the floor jack failing to operate properly. Use the shop cloth to wipe down the cylinder.
