In simple terms, if you’re in a location where you have a reasonable expectation of privacy, then it’s illegal to take your photo without your consent. If you are in a public space, then you cannot expect to ‘not be seen’ by other people, and they can take your photo.

You can refuse, but unless you have an employment or union contract that says otherwise, your employer could fire you for this. You might want to discuss your concerns with your employer, rather than just flatly refusing…
