Are there any common or uncommon MTG cards worth money?
That depends, most common and uncommons aren’t worth selling because they aren’t in demand in any format, but every once in awhile an uncommon card is printed that is highly sought after, this was the case for Fatal Push, an uncommon from Aether Revolt.
Can you sell common MTG cards?
Commons tend to be worth less than $0.05 each, and are rarely sold on their own. The cards that may cost money will have silver (uncommon), gold (rare), or orange (mythic rare) symbols. Flip through your cards and put the uncommons, rares, and mythic rares into separate piles.

To tell if a card is rare or mythic rare we look at the expansion set symbol. Almost all cards will have an expansion set symbol on it to help you identify it. The colour of this symbol will tell you what rarity the card is; common = black, uncommon = silver, rare = gold, mythic = orange-red / bronze.

The only way to make money selling magic cards is to play the long slow game of reinvesting EVERY penny back into buying more and more booster boxes so that the scale of what I just described increases. You have to spend money on new boxes every month to replace what sold last month.
How rare are mythic rares MTG?
Before this set, about 1 in every 8 booster packs contain a mythic rare. Any given mythic is exactly twice as rare as any given rare due to the smaller pool of mythic rares versus rares, and they are printed on the same print sheet.
