Are the Elder Scrolls and The Witcher connected?

No. The Elder Scrolls games are set on a world called “Nirn”, on the continent of Tamriel. There are other continents, but the game isn’t played there. The Witcher is set on “The World”, which originally was supposed to be earth, but the author Andrzej Sapkowski changed his mind at some point.
