Are our lives defined by fate?
Life is a delicate balance between the two. Fate brings you opportunities, and free will determines whether or not you take them. Fate is the destiny that is pre-planned for you, but it’s up to you to do something with it. Put another way, fate is the potential possibilities of your life.
Do we decide our own destiny?
Fate is what puts opportunities in front of us but our destiny is ultimately determined by our decisions. Our destiny is not something we can sit by and let happen to us. We need to take action on the opportunities we are presented with fate may open doors but if it’s our destiny, then WE have to walk through them.
Can we change our fate?
In simple terms, your destiny is decided by your karma. Every human has the power to change his destiny by changing his karma. Only we can create the future that we want. One has no power to control their karma but has all the power to change the karma.
Is everything written in destiny?
Everything is not already written in destiny. Based on your past karmas in your pre-births, you will be born as plants or animals or birds or humans (that too classified as born in rich family, intelligent, poor, complexion etc). You can change your destiny based on your current life and belief with God.
Can you believe in fate?
Yes. Many of us believe in fate because it offers us comfort and security. When bad events occur, fate tells us that this is all part of a greater plan. This gives our tragedies meaning.
Do we have fate or free will?
Free will relates to our exercise of will when performing actions in the present, whereas fate is the sum total of the effect of past actions that influence our present life. Exercise of free will in the past becomes our fate in the present. In a broader sense, free will and fate are not separate.

Does it matter what you believe in fate or free will?
It doesn’t matter what you believe in, that is all very true. If you believe in fate, your happiness was predestined, and if you believe in free will, your happiness was created. Despite your experiences and beliefs, you may want to choose to believe in free will.
What would happen if fate did not exist?
The fact is pre-determined events before birth created the conditions for that person to be blind. Events like that simply exist whether you like it or not. If Fate did not exist, we could all meet, fall in love and have that love be reciprocated with a favorite celebrity without exactly ZERO effort.
Does fate bring soulmates together?
Fate lends a hand to bring soulmates together. A fated relationship will shape your life by bringing experiences you wouldn’t have without them in your life. So if you didn’t have this fated meeting, your life path may have taken a different route.
Does fate influence our decisions?
Some would argue fate using a cause and effect theory and saying that certain elements such as the environment or the actions of others can influence our actions and decisions. This is true BUT only to a certain extent. For this to be absolute, it would only apply to an environment strictly and only LIMITED with physical laws.
