Columbia alumni enjoy free off-campus access to a wide range of databases and journals, plus lifetime in-person use of library facilities.

Can NYU students go to Columbia library?

Graduate and undergraduate students, full-time faculty and staff from NYU may access the libraries at Columbia, Barnard, Union Theological Seminary, Jewish Theological Seminary, and Teachers College upon display of a currently valid ID card.

To access Low Library, enter the main Columbia gates at 116th Street and Broadway, and follow the main steps up to the building’s main entrance. To access the Rotunda: The Rotunda is located immediately inside the main campus entrance of the building.
