Are college application deadlines the same every year?
College deadlines most often fall between November and February. Early admission means preparing your application sooner in your senior year. Regular decision gives you more time to work on college essays and take exams.
Can you start college late in the year?
No you can’t. If you don’t show up for class and/ don’t pay by the deadline (very early in the semester) a lot of schools will drop you. Even if you could, you will almost certainly fail all your classes and it will be your first, and only semester in that college.

What happens if you apply late to college?
There may be an additional late fee for applying beyond a deadline. There is a possibility that housing may not be available, at least for the beginning of the semester. Financial aid may or may not be available, although federal aid may still be possible.
Why are colleges extending deadlines?
