Are Aedra better than Daedra?
TL;DR: the aedra are spirits which sacrificed some of their power to create the mortal plane. The daedra are all the spirits which did not sacrifice their power, and are thus objectively stronger.

BUT the Dragons are the children of Akatosh and therefore Dragons ARE Aedra which makes the Dragonborn an Aedra too as he was ultimately created by Akatosh the leader of the Aedra.
