Midnight to 11 AM are the morning hours, noon to 11 PM are the evening hours. ‘1 AM’ or ‘1 (o’clock) in the morning’. Never ‘1 AM in the morning’. 1am in the morning because according to GMT, 12am is already in the morning so it’s right to say 1am in the morning and not night.
