Is my hero academia inspired by DBZ?

My Hero Academia series creator Kohei Horikoshi is not shy about his love of other works, and some of them even go on to influence his work. But it turns out that one character in his series is inspired by another famous character, Dragon Ball’s Goku.

What quirk would Goku have?

His quirk would most likely be a energy stockpile quirk that he can either shoot as energy beams or power up his body.

Is Bakugo based on Vegeta?

9 BAKUGOU – VEGETA While a Goku type character isn’t present in My Hero Academia a Vegeta-inspired rival archetype is. That character that fills this rival role is, of course, the hotheaded Bakugou. He comes from a past that makes the character more than originally meets the eye.

Can Goku tap into Super Saiyan 3 in my Hero Academia?

Goku will be able to tap into Super Saiyan 3 (consider this Goku being just before Battle Of Gods), and any characters from My Hero Academia will be able to tap into their strongest possible forms. For this article, we also need to treat Goku’s Saiyan abilities as a Quirk in this hybrid-setting.

Goku isn’t likely to beat up a girl, so provided she is able to approach him and touch him, Goku could be reduced back to his childhood form, or even be wiped from existence. How strong is Goku without any of his powers?

Even without tapping into his more super-human abilities, Goku is a masterful hand-to-hand combatant and is incredibly strong without dipping into his power well.
