Why is Fairy so op?

Fairy-type’s main strength is against Dragon-types, which is especially important seeing as Dragon-types are often some of the most powerful Pokémon in the games. Having an advantage against Fighting-types is an added bonus, making Fairy-type Pokémon even more versatile.

Why are Fairy types weak to figthing moves?

Based on that, Fighting type was almost in need of a nerf as the Dragon type. That, is my theory to why Fairy resist Figthing moves and Figthing types being weak to Fairy. However, if you want some more logical explanation, it could be that Fairy types are so cute the big bad Fighting brutes don’t want to pummel them.
