What happens if you fail your course?

If you’ve selected to take a course “pass/fail” or “pass/no pass”, rather than receiving a letter grade, then failing won’t be counted into your GPA. However, you will have to retake the class. In most cases, if it’s a course required for your major, you won’t be able to take it “pass/no pass” in the first place.

What happens if you fail a class UOA?

You can enrol into a course for a second time but only if you failed on your first attempt. They will only approve enrolment for a third time if they are satisfied with your ability to pass the course. If you fail a course three times then you will have to seek further advice by contacting your faculty.

Can you go to university without any qualifications?

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Foundation Degrees are designed specifically for students with no formal qualifications. Admission is based on the likelihood of your ability to complete the programme successfully and to derive benefit from it.

How many hours a week should I study for a class?

You should plan to devote a minimum of three hours per week per credit, plus an additional hour per class each week to review materials. For instance, for a three-credit online course, you will need nine hours of study time and one hour of review time each week.

In the case of failed A-Levels, you have several options.
