According to a rule, students who fail in a subject in the board exams, will not have to repeat a year. Students might have the marks, but they lack the skills to mut themselves to proper use. This has also been introduced keeping in mind the government’s Skill India initiative.

If you fails in any one of five subjects in 10th board then you’ll not be promoted.you’ll be failed. You must’ve to qualify all the five subjects.

What happens if I fail in two subjects in 12th standard?

If you fail in two or more subjects you are declared as failed and you will have to repeat 12th standard. As per CBSE Examination rules, a student is declared pass if he passes in English and 4 other subjects.

What happens if you fail in one subject but not another?

If you fail’s in one subject that doesn’t means that you fail’s in clearing class. As you thinking that probably you doesn’t pass in one of subject then you will get Compartment or Re-Appear in that particular subject. If you get re-appear in more than one subject then you are fail until you get compartment.
