How do you secure a large amount of money?

To store large amounts of cash it’s usually best to keep it hidden in a fireproof and waterproof safe that’s out of reach. Just avoid keeping all of your cash in one place. Having multiple locations helps protect you against the risk of losing all your money in one event.

Why might you be at a disadvantage if you choose not to keep your money in a bank?

The money comes from your bank out of your checking or savings account. Some disadvantages of being locked out or not choosing to belong to the traditional banking system are having to go everywhere to pay bills. They have to take time to go there and waste gas to go there. There is a fee for every purchase you make.

Why do we hold on to secrets?

We hold onto secrets to keep other people happy, safe, set in their vision of the world, and in their vision of us. Should you share your secret with someone?

If somebody is quiet and keeps everything in, it may cause them to have more stress, and eventually they will talk to somebody. If you really do not want to share another person’s secret, Shah recommends putting yourself in their position. Think about how you would feel if your secret was shared.

Should you tell someone you don’t want to know their secret?

If you do not want to be responsible for keeping someone’s secret, it is best to be upfront and tell the person you do not want to know their secret. “If you end up accidentally sharing a secret with somebody else, it is best to be honest and let the person know that you shared their secret,” Shah said.
