How does residency scramble work?
Those who get the call have a chance to find a residency spot through the “scramble”—a frantic few days before the official match results are announced, during which unmatched students try to pair themselves up with hospitals that have unfilled slots.
What happens if you don’t match through soap?
If you do not match, then you should participate in the Post-Match Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program ®(SOAP). SOAP is an opportunity for eligible residency candidates who go unmatched during the main residency match to apply to residency programs with unfilled positions.

Unmatched and/or partially matched bets is something that all matched bettors have to deal with at some point in their matched betting journey. A partially matched bet is when only some of your lay was taken before the lay price changed, leaving part of it matched and part of it unmatched.
